The School Day
At Avon Valley Academy, we have five 60 minutes lessons and one 30 minute tutor period each day. In total, students will be in school for 6 hours 30 mins each day (8.25am to 2.45pm) which totals 32 hours and 40 mins each week (not including after school activities).
Morning registration time
The day starts at 8:25am, when students make their way to their tutor group.
Official end of the day
Students finish school at 2:45pm, after lesson 5. This excludes any after school activities.

Two Week Timetable
By operating a two week timetable (Week 1 and Week 2), Avon Valley Academy is able to provide flexibility for a broad and balanced curriculum. It also allows us to focus an appropriate amount of time on the core subject areas.
