Remembrance Assembly

Avon Valley Academy held their annual remembrance assembly on Friday 11th November 2022. This years theme was the acknowledging the importance of the service and sacrifice made by past and present members of the armed forces, emergency services and civilian services such as the NHS and volunteers. We held a 2-minutes silence following the Last Post. On Sunday 13th November 2022, 4 students representing the school, its staff and students will lay a wreath at the Durrington War Memorial.
